The World Memory Championship 2018 is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from 20th to 22nd December 2018. A 25 member strong Indian Memory contingent under the leadership of Squadron Leader Jayasimha, President World Memory Sports Council for India is likely to participate. This year, the team’s performance is much better and the rigorous practice will bring us lots of Medals and I am sure, India will be among the top 3 teams in the world. We are trying to give World Memory Championship exposure to as many Indian Memory athletes as possible, so that this will help us lift standard of Memory Competitions in India and would also help promote Memory sports in a big way. I am very happy to inform that we are expecting positive news and approval from Government of India and various State Governments soon regarding promotion and training of Memory Sports in India. This will help us host World Memory Championships-20 in India in 2020 in a befitting manner.
The last date for registration for participation in this year’s World Memory Championship is 10th November. If any memory athlete is interested to participate in Hong Kong, kindly contact Squadron Leader Jayasimha on 98660 18989 or Bharath on 9591356435 at the earliest. We will be closing the entries by 10th November 2020.
